Madonna with Dolphins

This roundel was made in 1992 in response to a vision that Alice Friend had in Chartres Cathedral in 1988, of the Divine Mother creating the Cosmos, giving birth not to the Son but to the Sun. In the vision, dolphins were seen as the messengers from the world of spirit, and around all is the symbol of eternity. The pose of the figure is the same as the 12th century 'Notre Dame de la Belle Verriere' in the South Ambulatory at Chartres.

800mm diameter.

Tree Angel

This piece was commissioned and made in 1986 for the house of a healer in the UK. Its purpose is to show the presence of Being in all of nature. The central area is painted on a special, rare and costly rose-coloured glass that is made of gold and has yellow striations. This glass is powerfully therapeutic because of its combination of rose and gold, higher aspects of heart and head. Many thousands of postcards of this window have been sold and circulated round the world.  1502mm X 606mm

A front door panel for a house in South Devon.....inspired by the thought that sky colours are more dynamic when viewed through the dark silhouetted forms of a hedge, perhaps a fact that contributed to the origin of painted architectural glass. 1982
